Where is the best place to buy Louis Vuitton

Ok, I totally can't afford it, but I want to pretend. Where can I get those LV bags with the cherries on them? I LOVE those happy cherries. Is there a place that has better prices? Also is there a smaller or older LV bag that's more affordable? Show me ladies

I wouldn't mess around w/ LV on ebay. SOOOOO many are fake, and if you're gonna buy a fakie, at least head downtown where you can check it out first.

My favorite stop is Canal and Lafayette. There are 2 pulldown gates, Asian women wwearing LV fanny packs. They have the best stuff - very high quality copies.

How much are their knockoffs? I want the papillon bag

They have some really good fakes in a store on the Atlantic City board walk. The GOOD fakes are not CHEAP. I think the one I bought was $80 smackers!!

Knowing DH we'll probably get to A.C. before we get into the city! Thanks!

Also...i agree..the cherry LV is a fad...if you don't want to keep spending money to get another..i would buy a more timeless classic that will be great for many years!

I think i'm going to head to Canal St. on Friday. I really want a coach bag, but can't afford one right now, so I'll take a knock off. I've been bidding on e-bay, but they keep going higher than my budget will allow.

I had planned to get a coach (I don't own any designer handbags at all)...but I'm suddenly enamored with LV...

IMO, Coach Leather is much more classic.
Try a Coach outlet - they carry leather more often than the signature line. I have several REAL coach bags, and I never paid more than $150 for a 100% leather one at the outlet.

eta: I buy 'real' Coach leather, and I have 1 'real' Fendi that I bought myself in Italy, but my LV, Prada, Gucci, etc. are all fakies. IMO, they're too trendy for me to justify shelling out hundreds of dollars for, especially on my budget. And YES, I know it's illegal, I don't mind much.

LV has some more classic styles...but its really so expoesnive..and I heard that only the ones that are over $1000 are actually still made in france

to be on the safe side I think you shold buy a louis bag at Macy's are a Louis store. But I have to add...I love my 'Canal' coach! The outside looks just like other real coach bags I have seen...just the inside is a little different, but who sees that but me! I have to try the 'store' you mentioned. I have found that a lot of the Louis bags are sold out of garbage bags. If you see a large crowd standing around a garbage bag, it is most likely filled with Louis bags!

UNLESS ITS HIGH PRICED ON EBAY, I WOULDNT TRUST IT. I PAID OVER $400 FOR MINE ON EBAY USED- AND ITS REAL BUT I TOOK A BIG RISK. YOU ARE BETTER OFF PAYING FULL PRICE. JMHO.

I wouldn't buy a Louis Vuitton or any other bag unless it was from the boutique, a department store(like saks, bloomingdales, etc). No way would I pay some idiot from ebay one cent to make a knock off of a bag just so I could carry the label around. I would rather wait a year and purchase the real thing.
JMO

Besides fake Louis Vuitton's are so easy to spot. All you have to do is see that red marking around the straps. It is supposed to be subtle, but on the fakes it is painted on and is very obvious.

i wouldn't buy one from ebay either but there are reputable places online that you can buy things that aren't fakes!

My wallet and checkbook are fake but you really have to check it out to know it. The cherries are cute but too expensive for me now. I am actually looking at the new striped Coaches for the summer.
