where is the best place to shop....

for a plus size wedding gown?

i dont want to go to a store and be old o u can't try it on cause ur not a size 2!

David's Bridal has a 2-28W.... and they have all the SIZES!!!!

I went to a lot of stores.. where the dresses were sample size 8 or something like that... and while I am a streetsize 10 in pants.... im NOT AT ALL a 10 in a wedding dress.... so it was FRUSTRATING AT FIRST... but some of the stores that a. had dresses in bigger sizes... where you could at least get the 'FEEL' of what a style would like...... were.....

Plus size or not, very few of us fit into the sample size...(how i wish I did lol lol lol lol lol)

but those two stores definitely helped you a. get into a size dress that DOESNT REALLY FIT YOU.. so that you can get a look at what you look like.. and also have.. OTHER OPTIONS in different sizes so you can look at styles

I asked the same questions on bhb board and alot of the 08 plus sized girls recommended Lillette's in Baldwin. I asked about Plus Sized Maggie dresses, and they all recommended there.

Not sure what size you are but i think Lillettes had up to size 12 to try on. Davids bridals had higher. I think. I saw some plus size girls when i was there and they had dresses on so i assume they hav ethem.

burtons is really good with plus size brides they make it work. they some how squeezed my asssss into a size 8 gown.

as long as you throw the gown over your head and not step into it. you can pretty much fit into any size gown, just obviously cant zip or tie it up lol

but they do make it work theyre awesome
