yeah he is working tomorow day and night so we wont even see each other but its ok... im going to spend it with his fam anyway ( his bro is athletic director at school and they have their biggest basketball game of the season, so everyone is going to be there... it should be fun... and its one of the first times that I can drink in a HS gym and NOT get into trouble... ( well maybe but i cant promise)!

no im actually not married yet!! we have been dating for 7 years, we got engaged and originally planned on an 07 wedding but then things kind of crumbled, he HAD to buy his grandmothers house, we wanted to save money and do it right, so technically we havent gotten married yet... (* thats the short version- the long is waaay more intense and dramatic)~ and we dont need no drama llama up in here!

*and i just havent changed the date cause i dont know when we are getting married!!!!

ohhhh i gotcha now! sounds like your reasoning for postponing the date is very sound! i'm looking forward to hearing about you guys setting a date and getting the planning going!!

well things are looking good now.. i love love love Gustavinos in queens, its right under teh 59th st bridge... bryan loves it too but he doesnt want to have people travel to queens and I have a lot of OOT from CT and PA that just would DIE if they had to drive through a NYC borough!

i know.... actually when i first started going to school on Long Island I had met people from right there that never bothered venturing into the boroughs! what are your other choices if he wants to have the wedding on LI?

well its hard... i am soo freakin picky and I plan events for a living sooooo .. i love the vineyards, but he doesnt want to do a tent or outside if it rains.. i honestly have so many places, but I dont want typical...

actually we went to my friends wedding in july 08 at Vineyard Caterers and it was beautioful... you are going to have an absolutely fabulous time!!!

thank you sooo much for that - makes me so happy. you know, i don't think any of these places are perfect. but i guess you just gotta go with the one that will provide the perfect experience for *you* and your day, right? i mean, as an event planner, you must spot the flaws of each RH very easily.

you have no idea! and FH hates it sometime, because i am soooo attention to detail, and why didnt the server come over and fill my drink up when I asked, and he didnt clear from the right, or there is lipstick on my glass! its almost a flaw for me, but i tell these people that i meet all the time, you better do it right, I have a lot of important people at my wedding!!

my main concern is great great food, fantastic music and beautiful flowers and decor. and I know all my friends who are technically my vendors as well are flawless and they know my standards... so its just finding the right place..

LOL i'm sure theres many more of us out there that feel down in the dumps and ready to strangle someone but we choose to keep our mouths shut...

I havent been airing my dirty laundry on here lately nor have i been pickin any fights.... This isnt normal

i know i know!! I love martha clara it is my favorite, and they do have an indoor facitlity but he ( and I) are both beachy people too.. the problem is at lot of our friends are getting married first and i do NOT want to get married at the same place my friends have so it eliminated :larkfield manor, westbury manor, fox hollow, crest hollow, villa lombardis, de seversky center, bourne mansion, vineyard caterers, montauk yacht club, george washington manor, and im sure some other one that i am forgetting!!

ohhh i HEART martha clara. but i was convinced that i'm too lazy to plan and host a wedding like that - i needed a place that was going to do EVERYTHING for me and make the whole thing brainless from start to finish. but you, on the other hand, could pull that off seamlessly. i TOTALLY understand about not wanting to use the same places as your friends. kind of limits you though... arghhh. what about places out East?? like my mother wanted either a Montauk or EH wedding. she really liked East Hampton point.

i know, i just have to think about all my OOT guests ( i seriously would have like 75!)

I want the vineyards and I know every freakin detail about what I would need down to the very last seafood fork!! but part of me just wants to show up at a place that is beautiful to begin with.. I am leaning more out east though!
