We're using Mya from Cosmetic Artistry (LIW vendor) and she's going to come to our hotel the day of.

There was a bride who's review I stumbled upon- she went to a salon in Farmingdale, so I figure I'll use them. I find it is soooo much cheaper to go to a salon for makeup. I already have my own hairstylist coming to my house.

i couldnt agree more- i cant see myself paying 100+ for make-up & another 100+ for hair & thats just me alone! i might go to mac counter at bloomingdales since i work there- i can afford it- i love mac make-up & its affordable for my girls

Does anyone know if MAC makeup artist do airbrushing?

I would like to save on my makeup by going to them instead of coming to my house. There's a MAC counter only 10 minutes from my house

hmmm..... not sure if they do airbrushing- i think its regular make-up- but they do a good job- my friend got hers done today

My best friend is a MAC make-up artist, so she is doing my make-up. She is also doing my mom and my sister's (MOH) make-up. She will be coming to my house that morning.

i'm using her too. she has a great winter special...(i'm marrying in feb.) if you have 4 other girls getting MU done (plus the bride)...then the bride is free. make up for BM's and MOB/MOG is only $65 for (or $90 if they want airbrush)

since my girls are getting their hair done, i decided to pay for the traditional MU for them, since i was gonna pay for myself and my FMIL anyway. (which would've come out to nearly the amount for 4 people anyway!) and she will come to me at like 6 or 7 a.m. to the hotel!

I used Oksana. She came to my house. All of my bms got their make up done and so did my mom. I loved her!

what do u guys think???????? i think i might go to my own salon to get my hair & bridesmaids hair done & go to mac counter for make-up which is 5 minutes from the salon? or should i just have someone come to the house like oksana, georgeous faces

I got my hair done at a salon, and the makeup done at my house by Jackie from Imakeupyou...

I dont think I would want to add another pit stop, especially a mall-where the counter would be (right?) thats just me... i think you should try to have someone come to your house to avoid rushing around...
