Please help.............................I don't know where I want to get married, some of the places that I like are Leonards, Villa Lombardis, Captain Bills. I can't afford Villa Lombardis I don't know what to do, my fiancee is a Marine and we are on our own to pay for everything, so basically that leaves all the saving to me. Anyone who knows a military man/woman knows that they don't really get paid much at all. So please I need opinons other places to look at. Please keep in mind my financial situation, and suggest any halls that you know are resonable/good?
We really loved teh George Washiungton Manor, we were ona budget paying for everything ourselves and we coulodnt have imagined a bettre place, we wanted fireplaces and they had them, in the reception, in the cocktail room , even in teh ladies room! The service was incredible, my guests were all very impressed with how great teh service and food was, we had a great weddinga nd were THRILLED with teh GW Manor!

You have Fm . There was a post by someone with the title . Our first day visiting reception halls was the post I think. You will find some info on other places for your wedding. I am having the ceremony and reception at Flowerfield.

The Swan Club is very reasonably priced and the grounds are beautiful. You should look into it.
Quite a few places are decently priced. Have you thought about a Sunday night? They are the cheapest nights. Remember it may be worth changing the night if you REALLY like a place. I sent you FM about Villa. I forgot to mention the person I spoke to there, Jenny, said they can come down off the price in Jan/Feb/March.
You can also try Chateu Briand, they were really nice there, very helpful, and the place was very nice looking. Though for us the price was similar to Villa Lombardi's. It would help if you gave us a ball park of how many people and how much you want to go with tax and tip per person.
For us Leonard's was just as pricey as Villa Lombardi.

Altho we are having the ceremony at the Historical Chapel.... I just couldn't do without some kind of stained glass. We too are paying for this ourselves... so a fabulous gothic edifice was out.

not exactly what your are looking for, but i booked the Holbrook Country club for a Sat night in July for 56pp before tax and service
also liked sunset harbour in patchogue and smithtown landing, both under 60pp. these places also included the centerpieces-another $ saver

Try the Stewart Manor Country Club (www.stewartmanor.com) They have a pretty gazebo for ceremony/pictures. 1 wedding at a time, personal service, great food, great price ($65pp), cake, centerpieces, linens included. Talk to James. He was WONDERFUL!!!

My sister is getting married at The North Ritz Club. They have really good prices for those on a budget, not like we all aren't on one but you know what I mean.

I am on a tight budget. The cheapest quotes I got were from the Huntington Townhouse, Meadow Club, Mediterrean Manor, Brentwood Country Club and Holbrook Country Club. FM me if you need any more information about any of these places.

I was going to suggest the Meadow Club. Its fairly priced and includes centerpieces! They are all really nice there and when i went for a showcase the food was really good!
