Please help.............................I don't know where I want to get married, some of the places that I like are Leonards, Villa Lombardis, Captain Bills. I can't afford Villa Lombardis I don't know what to do, my fiancee is a Marine and we are on our own to pay for everything, so basically that leaves all the saving to me. Anyone who knows a military man/woman knows that they don't really get paid much at all. So please I need opinons other places to look at. Please keep in mind my financial situation, and suggest any halls that you know are resonable/good?

Did you try King's Point? They have a chapel and grounds ... maybe they'll understand your situation and work with you.

Have you tried the Riviera at Massapequa? It's absolutely beautiful inside and it's on the water. I'm not sure what the capacity is, but I'm guessing it would be comfortable at 175...but I think they have had ~220 or something. We're actually having it on a Thursday night in the summer and the price is absolutely unreal... We spoke to Michelle who was extremely nice and full of suggestions. I think they might be having a showcase at the end of the month. Also, if you're interested in bands instead of a DJ, try Code Bleu. Hope this helps! Riviera

Re: Where should I get married?????////
manor east, coral house, and verdi's all have low prices...
I'm pretty happy with Leonard's, and they might work with you on price since you're getting married on a Friday night because they told us Fri. nights were more negotiable. I had a problem where we didn't realize how much everything was going to come out to, and they were able to remove some things I added and bring the price down to a VERY reasonable price. I kept the Parisian dessert of course. Dessert is my favorite part.
Thanks everyone for the help, as far as the Kings Point Marine Academy is concerned you can only book six months in advance, i don't want to chance it, but i am going to call/ go to all the suggstions you ladies were kind enough to give me thank you all

I think you should try The Meadow Club also. We are on a very tight budget and they gave us a really good deal comes to about 75pp but that includes a huge cocktail hour, centerpieces for reception, an ice sculpture, and a sort of mini vienesse table. Plus the grounds are really pretty to take pics there. Good luck!!!
