I just determined my next day off is the day before Christmas. If I dont find my dress this weekend, my last shot will be this date. Where do they have a really big selection so I can start making appointments. So far I've hit Davids bridal Macys Bonaventure Commack wedding center Burtons Bridal Reflections Bridal boutique in Bayshore

Re: Where should I go dress shopping?
try Bridal Suite of Centereach - I really like it there - everyone (except for maybe one lady) is really nice!

I hadnt even thought of trekking to the city. Only thing is I would have to go by myself because everyone else is working. Anyone have the day off?

Re: Where should I go dress shopping?
I got my dress at Carmela's in Huntington Station, but I haven't heard of too many girls walking out of Kleinfeld OR RK without a dress. Do you have any idea of what kind of dress you want or what looks good on you? Whatever the case may be, GOOD LUCK!

Diva....you have to go to Lillette's. Someone (nicknmb) on the boards recommended Lillette's to me and I got my dress there. Geri is so fabulous. I LOVE her!
Good Luck!

Re: Where should I go dress shopping?
I am getting my dress from Lillettes in Baldwin. They are a small shop, but great, personal service! The first time I went to try on gowns, I was there for 4 hours, yes, 4 hours! It was during the week, but I wasn't rushed at all. I just went back on saturday to show my fmil my gown, and although the place was packed, I still got my personal attention.

RK does have a huge selection. I don't have a day off but I could take a long lunch
