Of course my first fitting is next week and I have not even started looking...I want something comfortable and my gown is ivory. Do you think I can go to a regular shoe store (ie. luv my shoes or dsw)? Otherwise any other recommondations? Thanks!!

Re: Where should I go for shoes???
I've seen many shoes of ivory/off white color at DSW. I also so white ones there. I just bought my shoes recently at the Bridal Shoe Boutique on Old Country Road in Carle Place. They were very comfy even at 3.5' high (there is a cushioning inside of shoe already). I know it can be dyed if you want it to match your dress exactly...

Re: Where should I go for shoes???
My dress is ivory. I'm having mine dyed (it's included in the price). Shoe Elegance on Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook has a large selection of dyeable shoes. Many of the styles also come in a wide width. They let me take my shoes home for the fitting and then my mom brought them back to get them dyed. Payless also has 4 dyeable styles for $20.

they have a great selection my mom also liked craft shoes in commack
I just bought my shoes in Patchogue at Casa di Mario. That was the last stop I made on my search. I tried DSW, MJM, Smithhaven & Walt Whitman malls, 1 Bridal shop in Centereach & 1 shop in Sayville.
