i know everytime i go into BBB to buy of a registry i get soooo agrrevated! which do you girls think is better?

my preference is for bbb instead of target. as a bride, i've had a positive experience with them. i had people buy our crystal from another store then call bbb to have them adjust our registry accordingly and they did. saved us from having duplicates. in addition, they have a great return policy - you have up to 2 years to return items from your registry. i was told by one of their sales associates that they do this b/c they know that you get stuff for your shower that you might not use until you buy a house a couple of years later and they want to give people the ability to return those items if there's something wrong with them.

i like fortunoff but there arent that many of them around...so i am thinking it might make it hard for guests who dont live on LI and are not internet saavy.

Stay away from Target...My good friend used them and had NOTHING but NIGHTMARES dealing with them. They have a TERRIBLE return policy including if you get duplicates. For example, she received two waffle irons so when she returned one they gave her a store credit. Ok, fine. When she went to use it they told her she could only use it in the 'small appliance' section but by that point they had received everything they registered for in that section. Too bad was the reply she got, it cannot be put towards another department. After MONTHS of fighting with them, they finally let her use it on other things! It was really ridiculous.
