Where should we look for inexpensive decent quality furniture?

We are looking for inexpensive decent quality furniture. We are going to sell our apartment so we are thinking this will only be for now and then once we move a few years later we can buy the permanent furniture.

Where should we look, we also want great customer service if there is a problem.

Thank you.

All Wood Furniture Clearance center which is off Rt 100 in Farmingdale. The All Wood showroom is on Rt. 110 and I the clearance center is on the street that is to the right of the showroom (Daniel Street).

I got a sofa and coffee table / end table from Bare Boards in Bohemia - Locust Ave. just south of Vet's Memorial. It looks like an industrial building, but they have a lot of regular furniture and unfinished furniture, which you can have finished with your chosen color or stain.

Their CS is great. Both times the furniture came in well before the estimated time, and when I found a slight chip on the glass inset for the table, which DH had signed for when they delivered it, they ordered me a replacement with absolutely no problem, and when the replacement ended up having a chip too, they took the perfect piece out of the display and gave me that, saying they didn't want me to have continued hassles.

Their quality is what I'd consider middle of the road - like Broyhill or All-Wood Furniture, not upper end like Ethan Allen, but it is good. Our sofa is Hickory Hill and we've been happy with it.

Never been there, but aren't IKEA's prices pretty good?
