Where to Buy a Rolex?

Hypothetically, if I were going to get FH a Rolex as a wedding gift....where would be a good place to buy it from?

And yes, $7,000 would make this impossible for me as well.

Definitely go to Good Old Gold in Massapequa! They are SO helpful there and very nice... They also had ones in the $3K range, but I didn't want to buy it just to buy it, you know? So I'm going to save and hopefully buy him a nice one for our 10 yr anniversary...

Just another thought too - Cartier has nice watches in the $1500-2000 range too. You still get a name brand with them too.

FH got one while we were in Aruba that was around $3k. The Caribbean is known to have less expensive jewelry, but Rolex only lets vendors sell them for 5% less. We were told this by a number or people.

Go to Yaegar Watch in the Jewelers on Fifth building on 47th and 5th. They can get you any watch you want at a nice discount.

I mean i know it's not a rolex but how about a citizen, I love those watches and they are very nice for the price. I have on fh got me that was 500 and I love it! It's so pretty and the best part is it's an ecodrive so there is no battery to be changed ever. Not a rolex or a breitling but they make really nice watches.

My BFF is a gemologist, and she hooked up FH with her first boss, who is a diamond wholesaler. That's how FH got my engagement ring, and we're considering that route for our wedding bands too. But, he is a diamond wholesaler so somehow I don't think he can hook it up for a rolex.

But maybe if he cant do it for you, he'll know someone who can! I would at least check with him to see if maybe he knows someone....
