Hi, Does anyone know of a good site to order the almonds. I'm looking to get the colored ones. I want to make sure they taste good, cause I love chocolate and I will probably be eating alot as I wrap them

I got them from a candy company on ebay. I think I paid 20dollars for a 5 pound bag. I personally don't like them (to eat) but my uncle does and he said they were excellent.

I would suggest, not getting them from a wedding favor website. They will probably be more money. You need to find a candy webiste.

I got mine from ebay - from the seller nutvalley. they are great - I tasted them to make sure they were good, and they were delicious. I ordered them and got them within 2 days - I'd definitely recommend them. They have EVERY color too!
ETA: you can also get them at AC Moore and Michaels, but in smaller quantities.

There are lots of cheap places where you have to compromise on the quality, but sounds like you don't want to do that. The candy coating is thick on lower quality ones, which also makes each candy heavy so there are less per pound.
I looked around everywhere, even went to many overseas websites...and decided to get them from this place that imports from Greece. They send you a couple of samples for free if you ask. They're excellent - and I'm really picky. They have a hint of vanilla flavor. The price isn't bad at all esp considering how many there are per pound.

I got the super fine quality almonds in ivory, with a matte finish. This was the only place I saw that lets you choose the finish - perfect for me because I didn't really want shiny ones.
