where to buy maggie sotteros on LI???

I've chosen my dress so now i need to figure out who has the best prices on maggies???

and even more importantly who also offers good altertions!

i won't go to lillettes in baldwin i've dealt with them before and it was a disaster....so where else can i go??? i've been to helens in commack but they were $400 more than another place....any reccomendations ladies??? i'm in lynbrook and willing to travel up to about 45 mins away.

ETA: my main concern is finding a place that does good alterations....i've only dealt with one bridal salon in the past from being in a BP and they totally effed up the dress so i'm trying to avoid that.

Fantasia in Rocky Point sells Maggie's. It's prob about 45 min away from you maybe a lil more. They have their alterations capped at $200. I got my dress from them and they are soooo nice. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Your welcome! I'm looking at my receipt right now and it doesn't look like it includes bustle. It looks like it might say $10 per pt. for bustle? It's kind of a bad copy of the receipt so I can't really figure out what it says under bustle.

There is a separate charge per point, i think it depends on the dress. If i remember correctly mine might be $15 per point. I got the Maggie Victoriana. Look around for prices, ive heard they price match.

I got the same dress but, from lillettes so I am no help. Although I did try my dress on at The Bridal Suite in bayshore and they were around the same price as Lillettes

Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point...they match any price u find elsewhere, the selection is endless, and the seamstresses are RENOUND. i was in a bunch of weddings with them which led me to use them for my own. they are FABULOUS

They have a BIG selection and often have trunk sales. They are GREAT there.. I have worked with them for a few BP's i was in as well as all the dresses for my own wedding.

I went to Village Bridal and Boutique in Babylon Village. There prices are out of this world. They beat everyone elses price that I was quoted for my Maggie Dress.

There # is 631-587-2800.

There alterations are great. The did my bridesmaid dresses already and they came out perfect. My mother is a semstress so she knew what had to be done as well. She told me that they did it perfectly. My alterations were capped at $150 and an additional $100 or $50 can't remember for the bustle. YAY!

Another Fantasia success--the alterations are capped at $200 and I think it's $10 or $15 per bustle point---I only had a hem and bustle (that's all I needeD) but my bustle was really hard and had 17 points....we thought we'd be charged $200 + all the bustle points, but they only charged $100 for the hem + the amount for the bustle points, so not too bad.
