I'm looking to donate some of my gowns from weddings that I've been in. I found one place that takes them for prom dresses for girls but they don't have any storage until February since they work out of the school. Does anyone know of any places?
TIA

Re: where to donate gowns
You may have an issue due to Prom season being so far away.
Check out The W Girls, Long Island Chapter. They do a yearly Prom Dress drive and may or may not have storage available.

Re: where to donate gowns
My mom is part of Long Island Volunteer Center and they also have a prom gown giveaway every year. I can ask her if you can donate them now and if they would store them! I'm sure they would take them!

Re: where to donate gowns
Try looking up Operation Fairy Dust or Project Prom. I donated 4 dresses from weddings that I have been in, and I dropped them off at a dry cleaners in Hewlett. I don't remember what season it was, but they took them from me without a problem. I think it's a great donation to make! Good luck with your search.
