My Grandparents' 50th Anniversary is coming up this January- we are giving them a party and I am in charge of invites/cake/decorations.
I need help- I do NOT want to do the dork gold double ring thing.. any ideas? Any way I can tie all these things together.
FYI- my grandma is a picture NAZI- i wanted to make a poster lay-out for each decade they are married with pics, news headlines, etc- but my mom said Grandma has all the pictures.

A picture timeline is an awesome idea! It will really show what has happened over the last 50 years! There's gotta be some excuse you can use to swipe a few pics. Turn on the charm, girlie!

How adorable!
I would say make the invites yourself b/c you are going to have a tough time finding something appropriate and not cheesy (IMO at least) that isnt really expensive.
Maybe incorporate your grandparents wedding photo in the invitation?
And the photo timeline is such a great idea!!

I am having a 30th anniversary party for my parents and I used their wedding pic, mounted on paper and then had velum overlay the top with the invite printed on it and teid with a bow. They came out great!
