Where to get gown

First thing's first- Where should I be looking for a dress, I live in the city. Please recommend some spots

What is your budget?

Try Wedding Atelier, Bridal Atelier, Saks 5th Ave, Kleinfelds for a higher budget. There are a lot of smaller shops and if you run a search online there is some 'best of' listing from NY Magazine from like last year that pops up and lists about 25 places that sell dresses. If you are looking for something really simple, try Ann Taylor or JCrew, they both make simple dresses.
