My fiance and I are going crazy trying to find a place to get married this summer. We both like tropical places, but want to include all of our families, so we're trying to stay local instead of flying off to a tropical island! We looked at the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville and LOVED it, but there are no dates for this summer availible. Do you have any suggestions?! And.... we;d LOVE to get married on a beach. PLEASE HELP!

What about Dansford on the Sound in Port Jeff
I wanted to get married there but i needed a bigger room
never went to a wedding there but have had dinner there bc i live nearby... great place.
and the original poster mentioned old field club - i live in old field!! love the ofc.

Have you found a place yet? We got married at Gurney's last year and it was perfect! Our ceremony was right on the beach with the ocean in the background. We then had an outdoor cocktail hour (overlooking the beach/ocean) and then an indoor reception and then back out for a bonfire afterparty! It felt like a destination wedding without the destination. It was perfect! Our guests are still talking about our wedding. I think they might have some dates available for this summer too! You should definitely check them out.
