Where to get Married?!

Where to get Married?!

My fiance and I are going crazy trying to find a place to get married this summer. We both like tropical places, but want to include all of our families, so we're trying to stay local instead of flying off to a tropical island! We looked at the Crescent Beach Club in Bayville and LOVED it, but there are no dates for this summer availible. Do you have any suggestions?! And.... we;d LOVE to get married on a beach. PLEASE HELP!

this summer? That's going to be rough...

Many of those places book wayyy in advance.

Hmmm...try Land's End, Gurney's Inn....

maybe try looking into Thursday availability? this might give you more options.

you might also look into renting a beachfront property for a weekend or a week out in the Hamptons...

or on Fire Island...there was one girl (maybe a 2011) that was looking into it. it looked really nice.

It's going to be tough to find a place with available dates for this summer - you're going to have to try to think out of the box for a non-typical RH - like an inn in the Hamptons or on FI, as another poster suggested.

Good luck!

It will be rough to find something this summer...basically everything is booked.

You could try the Pavilion at Sunken Meadow, the Inn Spot on the Bay, Miller Beach Surf Club, Shoreham Beach Club.

Try and check out the Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon. It's right on a dock and the water views are spectacular!

I've heard that Ocean Palace (I think that's the name) in Long Branch, New Jersey is absolutely gorgeous for summer weddings on the beach. Not sure if you'd want to do it in Jersey but I've heard people rave about this place.

I'm not sure if it's feasible, but all the way out in greenport there is a restaurant (Claudio's) on a dock. if you are really set on a date and near water, maybe they can work with you?

Those were some pretty good sugesstions. Thanks! Claudio's would never close down on a Saturday night in August , unless you were willing to pay BIGTIME!

Does anyone have any suggestions (& PICTURES?) on the following places?:
*Old Field Club, East Setauket,
*Lombardi's on the Bay, Patchogue,
*Thatched Cottage, Centerport,
*Coindre Hall Estate, Huntington,

Again, any other suggestions in Suffolk County... on the Water. (Yes, the place in NJ looks GORGEOUS, but it's a little far.)

Gurney's is lovely outside, but inside is old, outdated, and a littel smelly.

Also - what about the Harbor Club in Huntington? Its right on Huntington Harbor (next to Prime...the old Cocos) and has gorgeous views of the harbor!

I know it is not in Suffolk, but I am getting married at the allegria. Here is a link to the facebook page (which has alot more pictures then the website!)

I would def check them out...They have been so amazing to work with already! There are some bad reviews here from them b/c they didn't open in time, but they really have been nothing but amazing with me (and I am beyond hard to work with!!)

HTH!

I went to a few weddings at Thatched Cottage and looked at it for my wedding. I may be able to dig up a few pictures but the wedding I attended there was in July and the cocktail our was outside. So gorgeous. And great food too!! I went for a tasting a few months back and it was still delish!!
