I am having my ceremony at the reception place. They have a bridal suite, but how much of the getting ready do you do there? If I am getting into my dress at the site, how do I get it there and make sure it stays in good shape?

what i'm planning on doing is having the dress steamed/pressed or whatever gets done to it a day or 2 beforeand hanging it out of the bag.... then put it in the bag for transportation.
I think we are going to do all hair and make up before we go to the RH. then all i need to do is get in my dress. I don't think getiing in and out of a car or limo will be easy in my dress.

I think i would have my hair & make-up done prior to going to the RH......once you get there you could just slip into your wedding gown, shoes, jewelry & other little things. Good Luck

I'm getting married at my RH also, but I plan on having my bridal party and myself get ready at the hotel beforehand - the ceremony is at 11:30, so it's kind of early for everyone to be going to someone's house. We'll all be at the hotel the night before, so once we're ready, a shuttle will take us to the RH, and we'll just do touch ups in the bridal suite.

my ceremony is at 11:30 as well, so im planning getting my hair & makeup done at my parent's house along w/ my mom, sis (MOH), FSIL (BM) & FMIL...then ill take my dress with us to the RH and i will slip it on there

Thanks everyone! I'm thinking that's what I'll do - get ready before getting to the RH (except the dress) I was just worried about getting it steamed and then sticking it bag in the bag. So many little things to think of!!!
