Where to get THE gown?

I've been to a few places, but am not sure I found THE dress... Wondering where you all got your dresses and what experience you had there?? Went to BR in Massapequa and loved them... can't say the same for the WS of Manh*sset...

I'm ordering my gown from Lillette's in Bellmore. They were pretty nice there.


i agree with Lillettes! Gerri is a sweetheart


I had a great experience with Lillettes too! I used Lydia and she was wonderful. Also Gerri helped me over the weekend with some stuff, and she was great too

I found THE dress at Priscilla of Boston in NYC... I went to the location in Roslyn (they recently moved to Manhasset) to look for BM dresses later on, and did not have NEARLY the great experience that I had in NYC - the manager Eliana, my consultant Ayanna, and the other ladies have been wonderful whenever I go in there.

I, too, went to Kleinfeld's but did not find my dress there. It wasn't a bad experience, but I felt my consultant did not take enough time to look for enough dresses. She showed me three and then out of them, the one that I liked the best she kept saying 'THIS IS YOURRRR DRESS,' but i knew it wasn't. I don't blame her for wanting to make a sale, but if she had taken more time and showed me more dresses she might have.


I would completely recommend POB though!

I found THE GOWN at Angel Bridal in East Islip. They are so personal and nice there.

i actually found THE dress online. on the brides.com gallery....there was a maggie dress that i just NEEDED to try on. turns out the closest store was in CT. so i drove there. they were super nice, and had the store been closer, i would have bought from them

but i wound up buying from RK -- mainly for the convenience of getting into the city. the people at RK were nice (Jo is awesome) and although i was scared of the alterations at first, they really did come thru and do a great job

...just saying that sometimes you find THE gown online! lol

I got mine at Paradise....they were so nice there...we actually go stuck in traffice on the way to my appt and got there 45min before they closed and I was still seen. My MOH also got her dress there 3 years ago and loved the service.

I bought mine from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I knew it was the one when I was speechless when I had it on. They are very friendly there, as well as helpful. I went there without an appointment and since it was an off day for them because of the jet show at the beach, I got right in. I showed them pictures of what I liked and didn't liked. Nicole helped me and had me try on at least 7 dresses, the fifth was the one!
I also, got my BMs dresses from them. Since I bought my dress from them, my girls got a discount.
