I've been to a few places, but am not sure I found THE dress... Wondering where you all got your dresses and what experience you had there?? Went to BR in Massapequa and loved them... can't say the same for the WS of Manh*sset...

everyone's experience at a store will be different depending on the day, consultant, etc.
i went to wedding salon of manhasset and had a fantastic experience. my consultant was so nice and patient, stayed past closing, and helped me find my dress.
however, i had a terrible experience at kleinfelds. i had keasha, and while a lot of girls on here liked her, it must have been an off day, because i didn't not feel she provided good service.
so, i don't think there is one store that's going to work for everyone. you just have to keep looking until you feel comfortable and find the one.

I went to three places and had good experiences at all. Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point (where I bought my gown), Macy's Bridal in Smithaven Mall and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue.

Got mine at Paradise!!! Was just there today with my sis having her get measured for her BM dress and I love them! they are so helpful and friendly. I felt uncomfortable in so many other stores but I'm so happy I went with them

I found mine at Kleinfelds and had the most unbelievable experience. But it completely depends on your consultant I think.

I first found my dress at RK Bridal in the city. My experience was not the best. I waited for about 45 minutes before my name was called and the fact that its just a huge floor full of racks and racks of dresses is a bit overwhelming. No one helps you look until your name is called but they tell you to pick out 5 dresses.
I ordered the same dress i round at RK at village bridal in babylon. I had and am still having the best experience there. I am working with Julita but i think you cant go wrong with any of the consultants there. They really make you feel like you are the only bride in the shop. I have called back a million times with the craziest questions and they have answered all of them and didnt show any frustration at all.

I went to Pronovias NYC and couldn't have been more happy with my experiences there. I can't wait until my first fitting!
I also went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. They were also great, but they didn't have the *one*!

We ordered my dress from Monica's Bridal in Brooklyn. I know that there have been a few people that say they had problems with the customer service there but I had no problems with them at all. They have been very nice thus far and I never felt rushed trying on dresses. If you do plan on going there, I recommended Yelena (this is who I am working with).

ITA! I Can't remember the name of my consultant but she was great and I had the best experience buying my dress at Kleinfelds.

Bought my dress at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I worked with Lorraine and I thought she was going to be a pain in the @ss (b/c she's old) but she wound up being wonderful! Tried on Ines DiSanto, Eve of Milady, Lazaro ($2000-6000). I found the dress I loved at the Wedding Plaza, but had a coupon for 15% off at Bridal Reflections so I bought it there (and it was actually marked $300 cheaper at Bridal Reflections than at the Wedding Plaza).
I went to the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. I worked with Christiana and she was great. Gowns I tried on started around $3K and went up to $10K there. Mostly Kenneth Poole, Lazaro, Vera Wang.
I went to Bridal Elegance in Huntington. Worked with Phyllis and she was really helpful. Tried on mostly Alfred Sung and Enzoani gowns there ($1000-3000 range).
Went to the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park. Worked with Nellie and she was great too. Tried on Pronovias, Eve of Milady, Enzoani here. Gowns were in the $1500-6000 range there depending on designer). I found my dress there but purchased it at Bridal Reflections instead because price was better.

ITA!! With everything including Keasha at Kleinfelds. I felt like as soon as she realized I wasn't ready to buy the dress that day, she was done with the appointment. Had she been a bit more interested, I def. would have come back and purchased it...but I ended up getting a dress at Wedding Salon and they were great!

Do not go to the wedding plaza in floral park. I bought my dress here and they have been awful! once they have your money they lose your respect!
