Hi ladies I think I found my BM dresses but I'm not sure where to go. My MOH tried on the dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa but the dress was $230 AND they actually forgot about us. The floor length dresses are downstairs and the woman forgot we were down there. I want to try and find the dress cheaper (hoping for a trunk show). Also my mom and I werent that impressed with the customer service at the store. I havent heard the best things about Bridal Reflections and wasnt sure if I should still go with them or if somewhere else would be cheaper/better. Any suggestions?
Has anyone tried Lillettes or Bridal Elegence?

I know the Wedding Center in Commack carries Jim Hjelm, as does Bridal Suite of Centereach. TWC has a wider selection, but the Bridal Suite is definitely a nicer atmosphere. I don't know if this is out of the way, but it may be worth the trek if they have the dress (especially Centereach)

If you tried the dress on and know thats the one you can probably order it from any store that carries Jim Hjelm and will give you a good price! I would call around with the style number and see what differen tplaces can do for you!

Good idea.....do the stores have the dress listed under the same sytle #....hopefully they do

I had liked a Jim Hjelm dress too. I called Wedding Center in Commack and they were cheaper than Bridal Reflections (by about $30). I ended up going with a Watters dress that was $230 at a bridal store in Centereach. Wedding Center quoted me $200 but I got it for $184 at Burtons. They'll both give you quotes right over the phone if you call them with the style number.

If you call and tell them the jim hjelm number they can tell you if they have it and if they dont have it they can call the company and see what they can dsell it to you for!

I would actually call Burtons and see if they can order it for you and at what price. You don't get the frou-frou bridal store experience there, but their prices are usually lots cheaper.

R.K. Bridal carries Jim Hjelm and they have cheaper prices. They also will match any prices that you find on the internet. I'm not a big fan of Bridal Reflections. I was just in a wedding on Saturday and they ordered half of us the wrong size dress. They had to reorder my dress and it came in a week before the wedding. I definitely think you can find them cheaper at R.K. Bridal!

i think i'm taking my girls to macys to try on some dresses or the wedding center and/or that wedding place in happauge i will order them up here in buffalo though since it's a lot cheaper through a bridal shop up here

The dresses I am considering for my BM is a Jim Hjelm dress as well. Bridal Elegance gave me the best prices thus far. What is the style # of your dress?
