Where to go for indoor wedding pics?

We're now considering going to a different location for our wedding pics. But, since it's April 3rd and likely will not be the greatest weather, can someone recommend a good place for indoor pics?

Not sure if we will yet but there really aren't any indoor places at Milleridge that we can take pics other than the Cottage itself. But, if there's a daytime event, we can't get in until 5:30, which obviously wouldn't give us enough time. Just tossing around ideas.

Re: Where to go for indoor wedding pics?

My BM suggested the Melville Marriott and gave me a few pages of other suggested places (mostly outdoors, though).

I have no idea about logistics for these, but here are some ideas:
Hofstra, Adelphi or CW Post -- especially any archways between buildings
EAB Plaza
Any office buildings on 110 or apartment buildings near you with nice lobbies?
Big bandshells or gazebos at parks (none come to mind, though)

Re: Where to go for indoor wedding pics?

Wow.... I didn't even think about the option of not being able to get into my hall with time to take pictures if they have another event going on. We'll just have to take all the pics in my hotel room then! How beautiful that will be....

I will but I think they're more zoned to the Roslyn area and that'll be too far that day. Just trying to get some other ideas.

Re: Where to go for indoor wedding pics?

Someone who got married last Nov. at the Milleridge Cottage took pix at the Fox Hollow Inn (at the Inn, itself) and got some pretty shots. I remember this b/c it may be what I do come Nov. 28th (will it be snowing? freezing?!) Hope that helps, my fellow Cottage gal.
