where can i find out which office you can go to to get a marriage license? also, what are there hours? thanks ladies :)

You can go to ANY Town Clerk's Office on the Island. Where exactly do you need one? Nassau? Suffolk? I have all the info- I work in a Town Clerk's Office.

Your best bet would be to go to Babylon. The number is 631-957-3000. Call them and ask exactly what documents you need, since every clerk's office is different. Good luck!!

We just went for ours- we went to the town clerks office. They are only there during the week until 4:30PM- very hard for people who work. I had to take a half day!
The license is good for 60 days
You need your birth certificate and a picture ID like your passport or license

We are going to Manhasset on Thursday!!
We went to Manhasset on Friday and were in and out in 1/2 hour. They were so nice there too and they give you a bag full of goodies
