My FI and I want to take a drive upstate or somewhere in Westchester. Where are cute little towns to visit? Thanks!

Oh, well, if you want to go a little further, Callicoon Center is really nice. It's near Roscoe NY. My parents have a cute little house there, I love it up there! Fresh air and quiet and the little shops are so nice!

We are closing on a house in Smallwood this month...try Sugar Loaf though, it's by Chester. It has a lot of Antique shops. New Paltz is also nice.

There is a town across the river from West Point with some cute antique shops and restaurants, but the name escapes me. There is also a hiking trail up that way that is nice. A search of what to do in the West Point area might result in some interesting things to do.
Also, the towns on the NY/CT border are supposed to be really nice, but I don't know which ones exactly.

Go to New Paltz and Mohonk mountain. I go every year!!!! It's so much fun to go hiking there.
We were actually thinking about getting married here but it was sooooooooooooo expensive.
Unfortunately, you have to pay to hike here for the day and you aren't allowed in the actual resort unless you are staying there....but we always sneak on...just don't wear the day pass they give you! They have tea and cookies everyday at 4pm!
Cold Spring...it is such a cute little town right by the water....they have a whole strip of antique shops and other cutsie little stores....I think you would love it. FM if you want directions or more info

Saratoga Springs is a great town!! Tons of parks, little shoppes, and restaurants. Very peaceful and romantic. Reminds me of Southampton a little but nicer in alot of ways!

Thanks girl- I will write these down for next time. We wound up going to Tarrytown and Sleepy Hollow and then went to Woodbury Commons!!

No we just went for the day. Tarrytown has lots of cute stores and restaurants. Sleepy Hollow didn't have as much but it was nice to drive around. And of course I LOVE Woodbury Commons! I don't even know what else is in that town besides shopping!
