We are looking for a restaurant in Suffolk County to have our rehearsal dinner at. We don't need a very big place, there are only going to be nine of us. I wanted something different that the usual places we go and everything I have looked at so far has been ridiculously overpriced. Can anyone recommend somewhere good? It can be any type really, Italian, Seafood or Steak house, we are open to anything at this point. Thanks!!

we are having ours at Famous Dave's in Smithtown. It is a BBQ restaurant. FH and I love ribs! It was reasonable too

Sonoma Grill in Sayville is really nice...Their food is really good! If you will consider Asian then Sweet Mandarin in Sayville is great. Another great place in Sayville is Collins and Main. Very pretty place HTH

We are having ours at Danfords in Port Jeff. We have a private room that isnt too big but is really pretty

Try Painters Restaurant near Belport. The good is SOOOO YUMMY! It is also a really nice atmosphere! They have couches/pool table on one side of the bar and the other side is the restaurant and there are cool paintings everywhere....its just really nice...and did I say the food was SOOO YUMMY!

I'm not super familiar with how close everything is down there - but we are having ours at Captain Bill's in Bayshore..the food, atmosphere and service are great!!

OMG....Famous Dave's...how fun. It's a chain from Minnesota, and when I saw there was one in Smithtown, I could not believe it! At my old job in MN we used to get GC's for Famous Dave's every year. Have fun!

Did you try Mama Lombardi's? Or The Medfor Pasteria? There is a Steak House on Sunrise called Martha's!
You are getting close Kate!!!! I have 37 days!!!! I can't believe it!!!! Next Wednesday Charlie and I are going to the Meadow Club to meet with Joe to go over Menus, and seating, and all that good stuff! I can't wait to go!!!!

the gatsby in islip they have private dining rooms upstairs which are beautiful, and hold about 9

Love The Gatsby. We wanted to have ours there but, it's too far from the RH and the hotel!!!!
