Where to HM in MARCH for about 3K??

I'm about to cry because this HM stuff is making me CRAZY ( ok, crazier...whatever!)

So where did the March brides/brides to be go and for how MUCH?

FH is now dead against Coasta Rica( its definatly a NO)

So we decided on NAssau Bahamas...WE WANT a resort feel with a LOT to do..not secludued...WELL GUESS WHAT???? We forgot to check the Weather...Travel agent says for both Bahamas and Mexica( puerto Vallarta and riveria) the high is about 74-77...TOO COLD..

Where do we go?? Aruba seems liek a possibility but we cant afford any of our top hotel choices..

I know Im driving you all nuts, I apologize, but I need some serious suggestions.

Did you try looking into cruises? You could do a bunch of islands and you're mostly on the cruiseship so the temperature should be good. My sister honeymooned on a cruise to the Florida Keys, Mexico, & some other places that I forget right now. Anyway, she loved it.

Why don't you check out Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. I have friends who have been- there are a lot of new resorts and supposedly awesome beaches. The pricing is very affordable.

Also, one of my favorites is Playacar in the Riviera Maya Mexico. ( 60 minutes south of Cancun) There is so much to do if you want to and there are a lot of new resorts there as well. The only annoying part is that you may have spring breakers on your flight that are going to Cancun. Research the hotels down there in Playacar - its not as expensive as a lot of the other places.\ Just doule check that NO spring breakers are allowed @ your hotel/

Also, if you went to PLayacar- you could actually leave the resort and stroll around Playa Del Carmen.

I would also say to check out a cruise...We are getting married in March also & are looking into a Southern Caribbean cruise from Puerto Rico for 7 days. There is also one out of NY for 10 days to the Western Caribbean & Southern. For us, that is the best bet, plus there is one you are in Aruba for 2 days!

I second the cruise Idea!! March is a GREAT time for cruises and you can probally get a great discounted one for less than 1000 per person....

If the cruise goes out of Puerto Rico, maybe stay there a night before u leave and/or a night when you get back...puerto rick is beautiful

I renewed my vows March 12 and we honeymooned in the Florida Keys. It was in the 80's all week. Unless I just got lucky?

What about Riviera Maya in Mexico? FH and I went to this amazing resort there last November and we loved it! We booked it through priceline and got some ridiculous deal, like $1400 for both of us, all inclusive and airfare for 5 nights. Tripadvisor had such amazing reviews of the resort we had to try it - and they were right!!

we went to the same place i think we spent about 1500 including airfare- all inclusive everything for a week. it was great and beautiful.

I think everyone gave great choices. I will also said Riviera in Mexico. One of my friends came back about two months ago from there and loved it. Also, Punta Cana is beautiful, sunny, warm weather most of the time and you get a lot for your $$$. Also, a cruise is a great way as you can visit different islands...
Aruba is also very nice. Good Luck!!!!

Definitely look into a cruise. Weather should be good in the carribean. All your meals are included too.

I just returned your FM.....we paid about $3500 but we booked late....January for our March HM...we too thought we wouldn't go (YOU HAVE TO! a HM is well worth it).

Secrets is perfect because there are no kids or singles (they may have changed the single policy, but not sure).

Mexico!
We honeymooned in Mexico in January.. we went to Zihuatanejo.. it's on the West coast- about 150 miles North of Acapulco- where they go at the end of that movie Shawshank Redemption.

The hotel was about $1400 for a weeek and the airfare was $1500 for 2 of us.

The garden suites are $195 night. It's a GREAT place - the beach is a 2 minute walk away and you really get a lot for your money.

ALL great ideas BUt like I posted, the travel agent, and the weather websites say that in march the weather high is only like 75-77 in both Mexico and nassau??

we went to mexico in april and the weather was beautiful. We stayed at the Royal Hideaway, which is in the Riviera Maya area and we LOVED it! I can't wait to go back. You should check it out. I think it might be in your price range. I don't remember how much exactly, but we payed somewhere in the 3-4K range for a week including airfare and it's all inclusive. I've been to the Cancun/Cozumel area even in January and the weather was great-pretty hot actually. I don't think the weather is that cold. we have been in Punta Cana in March and La Romana in the beginning of April... the weather was beautiful, it is not humid at the time of the year and the average tempature was around 80 degrees the whole time... also remember the sun is very different there, so it feels like 100 degrees

I went to Mexico (Royal Hideaway) in april 2002 or 2003 and it was nice. Not too hot but I still got a crazy tan. It had to be in the high 80's.
