DH and I are going on our honeymoon sept11-sept18 and his mom just backed out of watcing out dog. He is a 47lb 10 month old half basset half bulldog. I don't know where we can leave him. Any ideas?
How cute is he?? What a breed mix! I have a 5 month old boxer and I'm in the same predicament...were looking into a few doggie daycares that aren't too pricey and are really nice not like a kennel.

Ah! My sister has a Bassett/beagle! Your guy is too cute!!!
She has left her two dogs at Fonab Kennels in Commack and The k9clubhouse in West Babylon. Both were good

I hear petsmart's dog hotel in farming dale is super reasonable. My coworker just used them for her vacation and she loved them!

Pet Smart on 110 (Huntington/ Melville area) My friend takes his pup there for doggy daycare, I think they are a Doggy Hotel too?

This! We used them on our wedding day and a few times since. You can add on doggie ice cream, group play, frozen Kongs, etc. They have the option of an upgraded suite complete with doggy tv. When you pick up they give you a report card. Plus, they are open on Sundays! Very cute place.

I am leaving my 8 month old beagle tomorrow at Dog Hotel & Spa in the city,
We took him for day care and he like it. He gets to play during the day with all the dogs at the day care then at night they put him to bed. They also walk him during the day,. He was scared the first day i took him but by the end of the day he loved it and would not stop playing.

Our 6 year old jack russell stays at 'Doggy Be Good' in Queens....he LOVES it there. (used to Mossland Kennel for anyone who knows it by it's old name...changed ownership about a year ago when the previous owner passed away...FH's family has been boarding dogs there for 30+ years).
