Bed Bath and Beyond---I'm not big into house stuff so we decided to only register in 1 place. My friend registered at Macys & Bloomies and had a really good experience.

Thank you very much.
Yes its my inspiration cake. I showed it to the baker and I'm going to have an all white fondant cake and get all that cake jewelry for all around. But then I'm afraid its going to be too pretty that I'm not going to want to cut into it and eat it. hehe.

Re: Where to Register?

My mom works downtown in the city and she said there are some places down there. I've been meaning to go into the city with her soon to check them out as soon as I get the info I will forward it to you.

Raspsberry filling with every other layer chocolate cake or vanilla cake.

Re: Where to Register?

So far we've registered at Bed Bath and Beyond, and will probably do at least Macy's, and possibly one other higher end store like Fortunoffs or Williams Sonoma. Though after receiving the Pier 1 holiday catalog, we're more inclined to just buy our everyday ware from there ourselves and not register for it.

So far no complaints about BBB. Only thing is if you're walking around and a sales associate sees you with the scanner, they'll try to hard sell you and make you scan things you don't want or need. We have to take off a pot set and a turkey roasting pan because we were sort of pressured.

Re: Where to Register?

Fortunoffs shouldn't go under now. Another company bailed them out. But they are not the store they used to be. I am registered at Fortunoffs and they have the best completion rate. However they have less then they used to. Also if you have a lot of out of towners remember there are only stores in NY and NJ.

I am also registered at BBB which I love except they are calling me non stop to finish my registry because I have no china on it, but I got my everyday plates from Fortunoffs and inherited my China. I have thought about bailing from BBB if they call and bug me one more time.

I think I am going to add Macys for our out of town guests, but fh wants Sears fro the tool dept.

I did BBB and I found it very easy. No pressure to add any items at the store I went to, the girl who set us up was really really nice.

I also plan on doing Macys, but that will be much closer to our wedding date. I know alot of items get discontinued and out of stock and I don't want to keep updating for those situations.
