I know there have probably been a bizillion posts about this but...where to go shopping for bridal gowns? Please let me know what you think ro have heard about these places... Burton's Bridals (Melville) Angel Bridals (East Islip) Bridal Suite of Bayshore Bridal Garden of Bethpage Princess Bridals (Farmingdale)

I highly recommend Burton's Bridal. It was first (and only) place I ended up going to. The ladies there were soooo helpful and they had exactly what I was looking for. And their prices were veryyy reasonable

sorry, i don't live on long island, but i have been to a couple of salons in the city. try rkbridal. their dresses are very affordable. but beware of the customer service and alterations there. they don't have a very good track record.
2nd RK. Just be assertive. I had 1 girl that was so nasty on the phone. When I showed up a few hours later to deal with my situation face to face her tone change- damn straight!!! LOL There are only like 2 out of 40 grumpy ladies that work there. Everyone else is a sweetie!!

I highly recommend Angel Bridals in East Islip. The owners Rosemary and Vicki are GREAT! I got my dress through there and they have been absolutly wonderful to me! I have my first fitting there in about 3 weeks!

Burton's was excellent, that's were me and my BMs got our dresses from. Lidia's was beautiful and very helpful, but their dresses were a bit more there than at Burton's, Helen's was super nice but didn't carry the line I wanted, and FORGET Princess Bridals. They are the rudest people of life!

FANTASIA BRIDAL IN ROCKY POINT!!!!! they are SO incredibly awesome!!! they're right on the corner of 25A and rocky point rd. You will only find raves! Their selection is ENDLESS...and their staff is so nice - little marie is the cutest! They're probably the only shop that didn't give me an attitude about trying on crazy amounts of gowns..they just kept bringing me dress after dress after dress! Their seamstresses are also renound on the island...AMAZING! we ended up getting our BM dresses through them along with tuxes, shoes, etc...complete attire for the entire bridal party. They give u great discounts, plus they'll beat the price of ur gown if u find it cheaper elsewhere...check them out! they're great!
