Where to stay in Philly?

NOT at the Hyatt Regency at Penn's Landing. It's a GREAT location..but ewww. The rooms were grotesque. There were stains all over the carpets and the headboards were fabric and they had stains (EW ). I've never stayed anywhere else in philly..but I just have to say the hyatt was gross. Also we had to wait 45 minutes (yes 45 minutes) for our car from the valet, and then he didn't even pull it up to the fornt of the hotel, he just drove it off to the side and didn't even come to ell us...we just looked like idots walking across this WHOLE circle tog et our car. Not a good experience at all.

That's suprising that the rooms have stains because the Hyatt at Penn's landing is new... only about 1 year old. Some of the nicest hotels are the Rittenhouse Hotel, Loews, the Ritz-Carlton, the Four Seasons, the Bellvue and the Hyatt Bellvue on Broad Street... I live outside Philadelphia, and lived downtown in Philly for 5 years, so if you have any questions, FM me...
