I want to take a post wedding pictures because I couldn't take outdoor pictures on my wedding because it was pouring. Any idea where I should go other than central park? Preferably in Manhattan or Queens or Brooklyn. TIA.

its not in the city but westbury gardens is beautiful in long island. There is a fee though

If your photographer is willing to go..central park or the brooklyn bridge is a nice area to take pics.

Prospect Park in Brooklyn has scenic areas too, and your probably less poeple around if you go on a non-weekend.
Head for the area around the old boathouse, its really pretty.
I don't know if you need a permit.

Oh, I just remembered the Queens Botanical Gardens near Flushing has this tiny little wedding space. Its so cute, but its usually locked out. Might need a permit or permission.
Great thing is that so few people in the area know about it or visit it, that its usually empty during the day (unless you have a school trip to deal with)

If your willing to go to Yonkers. Untermyer Park is really nice. I took my pics there.

I took pics at gantry park and 5 pointz in LIC, Queens. Gantry park is right on the water so you have a view of the NYC skyline, plus theres also a grassy area, theres a park area, and you also have the pepsi cola sign in the background. If you go to my albums, look at my e-pics bc i have more pics of gantry park from my e-pics. For the wedding i took most pics at 5 pointz which is graffiti walls, and if you look at my pro pics you'll see what it looks like, also had pro pics done at gantry park
Many girls on here have also taken pics at gantry park
