Where to walk in Huntington? I just.....

I just moved right near main street in Huntington and I HATE being seen by so many cars when I walk....I guess I'm just a private person.

On top of that... I live on the second floor of a house...

How can I excersize?????

I live in Huntington Village as well. I usually go up to the High School Track or I drive to Caumsett Park in Lloyd Harbor. It is beautiful up there. If you go after 4 p.m. it is free.

OOOOOOOO the HS track! Right!

Where is that? I'm picturing it being right across from the Park right before you get into the busy area of main street??????? Is this right????

the HS is on the corner of oakwood & mckay rds. now that school is over it's a nice place to walk/run. i used to go there when i lived in huntington. during the school year i didn't like to go there though because there were always sports teams out there practicing.

I was also going t osuggest the track. Also, Heskcher park is pretty big and also has tennis courts. You can also go to the Y and join their gym or join New York sports clubs which is on gerard street I think, by Tello. You can also walk the neighborhoods behind the village. There are lots of hills and old houses to make it a strenuous walk with nice scenery.
