We went to dinner at Borelli's in East Meadow and then to Governors Comedy Club. We were with a group of my friends (DH is such a trooper!).
Funny thing - at Governors, we were sitting at a table right by the stage, holding hands and cuddling and the comedian said 'Oh, look at this couple, so much in love'... LOL It was our first date!!!
Who knew that w/in 3 weeks we'd BE in love and using the 'M' word?!
Ahhhhh, I love that man!! Such good memories!!

We knew each other for 3 months and had hung out as friends in a group. Finally I agreed to go out to dinner and drinks with him. We went to Croxley's Ale House in Franklin Square.

Talk about jogging the memory! We went and saw a movie (can't recall the name right now) followed by dinner, and then we went and met with friends at the Bean Post and Salty Dog in Bayridge... Aww - feels like yesterday and that was back in '97.

Our first official date was on the East Islip elementary school playground in the middle of the night! We were playing around..running through the sprinklers and we kissed! I was only 19 at the time...this was over 10 years ago!

Actually mine is funny...we used to hang out on the 'strip'and talk in Astoria Park a lot but our first date he took me to this very expensive high class steak house in Jersey. First hem issed the exit and backed up on route 80, then when we got there it was all these stuck up rich old people who were so mean to us! We were waiting for a table and I was soooooooooooooo uncomfortable...i finally couldnt take it anymore and I told him that it wasnt my scene and could we leave? HE was so sweet and awesome about it...
Then we went to get the car and he only had a 50 dollar bill for the valet attendant and he felt bad so he gave it to him..I Was like omg! lol
We wound up in the Buccaneer in Queens eating bacon cheeseburgers with chocolate milkshakes and I knew right there and then..he was the man I Was going to marry!
