Where was/is your bridal shower? (suggestions please!)

So one of my best friends is the MOH for her sister's wedding (who is also a good friend of mine). Well unfortunately my friend is not exactly a 'wedding wise' gal and has called on me to help her. I know that she doesn't have a lot to work with, money wise---so I'm trying to figure out a shower location for about 30-45 ppl in Suffolk (preferably around the Bay Shore area)

Can you ladies share your shower locations and if possible the websites to said places! I want to compile a list for her and work from there!

i just had mine at Palmers American Grill..

The food, the decor, service was unbelievable!!!!

There is also Captain Bills, they have a smaller room where we had our e-party & there is another restaurant on the water down by the fire island ferries but can't think of the name!

oooh, you should try Milk and Sugar Cafe in Bayshore. I love that place. Also, Parkwood Cafe (on Montauk Highway W.Islip).

I'm not positive where mine will be held yet.

Molly Malone's maybe? I love that place.

I checked out Capt. Bill's--i would love it, but i worry that the price might be too high for her. they need a place that is CHEAP like $20-$25 a person or less. but the food there is soooo good!

beechtree cafe! i went to a baby shower there, it was very nice and the food was great! (i think it's in e. islip).

my mom is having mine in Sept at Pomodorino's in Hauppague...you can customize the menu and they are reasonable in $$

I was going to suggest Molly Malone's also. There's also the Blue Lagoon in West Babylon, Silver Pheasant (it's brand new) in Lindenhurst, Papa Joe's in Deer Park and Villa Monaco in West Islip. Is a house party not an option? I know some good caterers.

Molly Malones has great prices and a nice room upstairs. I actually looked into them for my wedding.

It's not in Bay Shore but I hosted a shower at John Harvards in Lake Grove in 05. The food was great and lunch only cost about $15 a person. It might be worth looking into.

Mine is at Milk & Sugar in Oct!!! It's the cutest and reasonably priced for what they give.... (yes I know my shower )

Mine is in less than 2 weeks at the Davenport Press. I'll let you know how it goes.

I was not at all involved in the planning, so I have no idea how much it costs.
