Where was/is your bridal shower? (suggestions please!)

So one of my best friends is the MOH for her sister's wedding (who is also a good friend of mine). Well unfortunately my friend is not exactly a 'wedding wise' gal and has called on me to help her. I know that she doesn't have a lot to work with, money wise---so I'm trying to figure out a shower location for about 30-45 ppl in Suffolk (preferably around the Bay Shore area)

Can you ladies share your shower locations and if possible the websites to said places! I want to compile a list for her and work from there!

I love Molly Malone's! Mine is actually down the road from there at the FatFish - they have an outside seating area with tents.

I went to one at the Red Dish in Commack - it was really good!

ETA - Sorry, I didn't notice the Bay Shore piece.

oh melissa, there is a place in lake ronkonkoma that has GREAT food and it is VERY reasonably priced.... hang on....

We did my niece's Chistening last year at Charlie Brown's in Commack. They gave us our own private room in that back and it worked out great. Best part - I think it was only about $16.99 a person including sodas....and we were able to bring our own cake and I dont think there was a charge for them to serve it!!

Just had my shower last Saturday in a restaurant in Brightwaters, but, dammit, I've forgotten the name of the restaurant! it's what used to be 'As Time Goes By' in Brightwaters, that now has a name related to fish or seafood. Although they serve plenty of other things, my shower was a choice of chicken, pasta, or fish, which supposedly was great, although I had the chicken (very tasty.)

My mom put the shower together, and apparently they were great. We had a wonderful time, the food was excellent, and instead of a cake we had assorted pastries and chocolate covered strawberries, all of which were amazingly tasty.

I'll ask my mom what the name is. Obviously I need lunch ASAP.
