i only have 2 girls to worry about. my MOH and 1 BM. my MOH is plus sized, while my BM is short, but average size. i want them to have the same color, but they could have different dresses is necessary. i'm looking for plum or purple colored dresses. (or a variation of it)
any places i should check out for them? how about websites to look at? i am completely lost as to how to begin this search for their dresses!

unfortunately I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and have nothing but headaches. For 2 of my bridesmaids they took the dresses in instead of out and for my other bridesamaid they took the top in but never took the bottom in. So 4 days until my wedding 3 BM still don't have fitted dresses. Plus they are just really snotty and argumentative...even when you are just asking a simple question..it's like they immediately get on the defensive.
I would highly recommend Kleinfelds or Bethpage bridal.

Where are you located? I got my BM dresses at Helen's Bridal in Commack and was happy with their selection, service, and price. You can also try looking at a Macy's that has a bridal dept. Good luck!!

I looked around at other stores and ended up ordering from RK Bridal through their no frills program and got the dresses for a lot cheaper.
They have size charts for each designer listed on their website.

I went to Flowerama in Glendale and I love them! No problems what so ever!
RK Bridal in the city. They were ok for selection and prices but the attitudes in there were

I got our BM dresses at Burton's Bridal in Huntington - best prices, good customer service. For excellent customer service - Helen's on Austin Boulevard has by far given the best I have ever seen (between my wedding and my sister's wedding - and between the two of us we visited more than 25 different bridal salons).

Hey there! I met you at Heather's party! How is everything?
I went to Helen's Bridal for my BM dresses and Liz is very nice there. They are located in Commack on Austin Blvd. They have sizes from junior petite to Plus sizes. One of my BM is plus sized and there was no problem. Good luck

I got my bridesmaid dresses from Bridal Suite of Huntington....the women are SOOOOO sweet!!! I just picked up my last dress there...and i was soo sad to leave...bc ive become to fond of the nice ladies there!!!!

I got my BM's dresses at Ann Taylor, but for my sister's wedding we wore Aria Dresses. They make all different style dresses, but in the same fabric and will cut your entire order from the same dye lot, so it's a great option for BMs that widely vary in size and shape.
