where'd ya get your wedding jewelry?

Im looking every where but i really am not looking to invest a fortune.

I would like dangling earring- not very long and a big bracelet- sparkly but no necessarily diamonds

online and real store suggestions are welcome

I got all of mine from Swarovski. Their website is great, but it doesnt really do their items justice. They also have a nice price range.

Here are my necklace, bracelet and earrings.

I got Swarovski jewelery as well but got it at Fortunoff's. (I opened a credit card at Fortunoff's to save an additional 10%--every little bit helps, right?)

I got my jewelry (earrings and necklace) from Carolee and was VERY happy with both. I have really bad allergies to 'cheap' jewelry that has inexpensive metal and nickle in it but this was all high quality, no allergic reactions

As for how it looked, when one of the GMs saw me for the first time, I heard him say to the other guys 'holy sh!t, that necklace must've cost at least a grand.' Nope, $95 He was really obsessed with the necklace all night though -- it was kind of cute!

The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the little dangly piece on the back of the necklace. In retropsect, I would've gone somwhere and had them cut it off for me. I just don't like the way it looked in the some of the pics. Hope this helps

Try the Home Shopping Network online. www.hsn.com

They have a ton of stuff! The CZs can be relatively inexpensive. My friends and I were really successful there.

Bloomingdales and Nordstrom carries the Nadri, Crislu and Carolee lines - all costume jewelry that looks gorgeous on and is fairly inexpensive.

A few bracelets from Nordstrom...

I agree Nordstom has great selections, I got my MOH jewlery from there.

I don't know if this will help, but I will give it a shot. Here in Philly there is a Zales outlet store...In addition to getting my wedding band there, FH got me my wedding day necklace. The prices are cut so dramatically it's amazing... Most of the jewelry is like 60 percent off.... So I don't know if there are Zales outlet stores in or around LI or other jewelry outlets, but it's something worth checking in to... You'll save a ton of money.
