I'm thinking we'll need placecard holders- but nothing fancy. I already have favors. Anyone have pics to share or places that give you good prices?
I figure I won't be able to find a silver baseball. And I guess if I went with a baseball it would look too much like a little kid's party.

awww the cookie is cute...hmmmmm....might be a possibility....though I didn't quite want cute. I'm impossible! I just feel like there is a fine line you walk on with themes...they can really get outta hand sometimes, and mine seems to be going in that direction!
we might just do the foldover anyway....I was originally gonna attach the placecards to little bags of peanuts/cracker jack...but now those are going into our favors (beer mugs).

I found these but I know that you are doing tickets so I guess they wouldn't work. It was just an idea though.
These are really pretty, it might not fit with the theme but it would be so you. The good thing about going with something that isn't related to baseball is that your guess (if they don't already know) will be totally surprised about the Yankee theme when the enter the reception room. Just a thought, or what about mini wooden bats, you could use them almost like the corks that are used for the wine theme, maybe even spray them silver if you wanted a fancier look. HTH
It's just an idea. It's a piggy bank so you can stick the ticket out of the slit. This may be a little expensive but i'm sure you can google and find them somewhere for less expensive.

Tara check these out, found them on ebay 24 BASEBALL BATS - 4' - WOOD , the item # is 150126019579. I know it's only 24 but just to give ya an idea and maybe you can ask the seller if they have more or where you can get them. Sorry I couldn't post the link. HTH

Anything for my date twin/fellow Yankee lover LOL I don't think it would be hard at all, I think you might just be a able to use one of those wood cutting thingamagigs and slit the top, the slit only has to be deep enough to hold the card so that shouldn't be too hard, at least it doesn't sound like it should be. You could put a small piece of double stick tape or a sticky dot where the yankee symbol is and place the ticket/place card over it! You wouldnt see the symbol, but you would still get the whole effect!
