Crabtrees in Floral Park - on Jericho Turnpike -great food and you have a private room that opens up to a nice back deck.

Jack Duggans (the upstairs room) in Floral Park - on Tulip Avenue. I was just at a shower here - it's great. Hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, working fireplace - tin ceiling (I think). You have a dining room that seats up to 60 I think - and a bar plus a smaller room where you can open presents - it's set up kind of as a lounge area - you have the entire upstairs. the food is good - it's basically american comfort food - the bathrooms were nice and there's plenty of parking. I booked the place for my rehearsal dinner.

Also - Umberto's restaurant - jericho turnpike in New Hyde Park - or maybe it's Floral Park - I can't remember. GREAT italian food.

I grew up in Floral Park and I no longer live on Long Island, so my knowledge of restaurants is pretty limited to the Floral Park area.
