Wheres Mary?

Hi girls!!!! Well, my Daughter, Debi, and I had decided to go to pick up her preserved gown, and my MOB dress, from her wedding, at the dry cleaners. The dry cleaner, who was also their church premarital counselor, along with his wife, owns a dry cleaning business, and for each Bride they counsel, they give free wedding gown preservation. So, his business is in Columbia, Pa., which is kinda a drive from Lancaster. Well, we were so engaged in conversation, that Debi took the wrong hwy, and then had to backtrack, to get on Rt. 30. Once on the right hwy., we not only ran into bumper to bumper traffic because of road construction, but also because of an accident!!!! Then, Debi kept the ride interesting, by saying she really needed gasoline, because her needle was on 'E'!!!!!!!!!! I went into prayer mode, begging THE LORD, to help us get to a gas station, SOON!!!!! We made it to the gas station, but the dry cleaner was closed!!!!! Then, my Husband and I decided to treat Debi to dinner out, since Fred is on a business trip to Wisconsin. We thought we would eat at a new Olive Garden, but the wait was over an hour!!!!!!! So, we ended up at Bob Evans, ate, and here I am!!!!!
In re: to Donna's wedding planning;
I'm awaiting a call back from one place for an appt. for Donna to see it. It's very affordable. More so than the Quality Inn Donna initially wanted. If she decides to go with this place, I'll put a link up. I think she is planning to get the gown she chose. As soon as I know anything that's not going to change, I'll let you all know. Oh wow, what a day!!! At least you were with people you love. Have a great weekend, Mary!!!!

While Donna has not even seen this place yet, I thought I would show it to you, just for something to do!!!!

I have been to the Elks Club, in Lancaster, for two different dinners, and everything was lovely. They provide the linens, china, etc. and cook on site. They don't provide the cake, or centerpieces/decorations, but it's ok, because Donna has a cake vendor in mind, and I had planned to do the centerpieces anyway.
