where's my thank you note???

i was invited to a bridal shower last year, couldn't go, but still sent a gift. however, i have yet to receive a TY note. that's something that i find sooooo annoying. if someone sends you a gift, i think it's so rude not to send a thank you note, or at least provide a verbal thank you.

and i know she got it, because a friend at the shower said she opened it there.

That's just horrible and rude. It takes a few minutes to send a thank u, that's all....
