Where's the 7th Heaven recap thread?

I actually watched the entire episode last night!!!
And sang along with the theme song, of course

Am I the only loon out there watching that show?

I watched! Where's our recap? Those twins are getting sneaky!

I was so blind with rage at last night's ep that I'm protesting! the recaps only encourage Brenda Hampton!

I think my favorite was Hoey's dad with 'I'm poor and sir, (dramatic pause) I'm hungry!'

How that guy said that with a straight face is beyond me!

I was on the floor with that comment! And I loved when twin 1 threw the apple at twin 2 - classic!

but, do they function independent of eachother? What would happen if one were seriously injured by projectile fruit?

That line was still going through my head this morning as I showered.....and it's still just as funny!!!!

I also liked the line about wanting to be 'intimate' again.....you can't say 'sex' to your WIFE?????

Yeah, when SAMvid, heaved the apple at samVID, I was like hmm, here's where the stupid twin kills the less-stupid twin and tries to take over the world.

Also, it's nice that RevCam finally mentioned to Annie that they should sorta, maybe, kinda peek in on their youngest children every once in a while because they are starved for attention!

Ooooh 'starved for attention'... hungry kids... the tie-ins, the layers, it's all so clear to me! 7th Heaven truly is a rich tapestry!


I hate this show.

I am sure the food stamps offices arcoss the US appreciated the show last night, and all the phone calls and requests that they are getting. Thanks Rev for letting America know that food stamps come in the form of a credit card.

Mr Boots and I decided we're going to refer to sex as 'being intimate' from now on. I think it adds a certain distance, formality and awkwardness to it.

And the Cyborg was squicky to the Nth degree about that 'Hey, RevCam, I'd like to talk to you about not having sex with my wife, your daughter and maybe you could give me some advice about how I could have sex with my wife, your daughter, because I miss having sex with my wife, your daughter.'

Mr Boots and I decided we're going to refer to sex as 'being intimate' from now on. I think it adds a certain distance, formality and awkwardness to it.

I wrote in and suggested they call it 'bumpin' uglies.' So is the mother dead or not? The dad said she would be embarrassed to use the stamps/card? And does it matter if the card says 'I am PO' on the front?

I thought last night's episode was excellent!

Finally, we see the twins operating independantley of each other in a classic 'evil twin' story line, wehre the one that appears evil, is only reacting to the more evil twin.

AND, I finally learned that the runtier one is Sam!

DH ( who is a pudding addict) loved the scene when Sam is on the stairs with the yucky apple & Ruthie was beign all huffy about her teenage problems. DH's sinssiter voice over in Sam perspective of 'Your problems pale in comparison to my lack of pudding' almost had me on the floor

And finally, Kevin realized that sometimes personal problems are PERSONAL!
And Lucy realized that she & her baay are her rich husband need a home of their own.

And Reverand & the Mrs, FINALLY realized that their children should not be left unattended.

And then it was over . FINALLY!

Does any one else remember the oter 2 'hungry student' episodes.

Seems RevCAM isn't doing so well , wit the outreach in his own 'hood.

And who were those hungry kids talking too? Zoey? The camerman? Me?

And there were at least 2 that were older than Matt.

Margot's mom is dead. Zoey's mom is po'.

Hoey's mom isn't dead. The awesome new girlfriend of GreatLash has the dead mom. She's the girl who made fun of Ruthie and then got dumped by GreatLash for being so mean to Ruthie, even though Ruthie turned right around and was even more spiteful and hateful than Awesome-New-GF-of-GreatLash-with-dead-mom.

And Eyebrows nearly killed me when he broke up with Hoey! After she freaked all the way out thinking he knew she was po' he just shrugged and said 'I don't know what's going on, I just don't want to see you anymore.' If he had flipped his hair and flounced out of the room right afterwards that scene would have been the awesomest awesome that ever awesomed!
