We got 7 responses today - 4 of them were No's! I needed some no's all 8 of my responses Saturday were yeses! (And all the No's were from his side too! Horrible of me - I know!)

Since we only have to guarantee 120, i kepp saying that I only want 120 people to come, and my FH keeps yelling at me for saying that!!! SO i will be glad when the no's come!!!!

Hey April, I am with you! 4 responses today... 3 yes 1 no OF course all the yes reponses were his mothers friends...she better get out the checkbook! LOL Where are the no's when you need 'em! (WE ARE TERRIBLE!)

you'll have to let us know how many no's you get and see if all the bridal advice from the mags is accurate about the 20%. I always thought 20% was high.

you're all too funny! We invited 144 people. We wanted all of them to come. I was hoping not to get a no. We ended up with 120 people.

We're terrible, aren't we! If I had all the money in the world I would wish for 100% yes and I'd have even added a lot more people to the list! But unfortunately I do not have all the money in the world.....
I was estimating 15% no and 85% yes and I've been keeping track of the % of respondees! Right now I have 57 Yes and 14 No, wich is 80%/20%! But I am still waiting for A LOT of responses so I will keep you posted as I get closer!

Hi Ladies!!
So far I have a total of 34 responses and only 3 were NO's!!! I am still waiting for about another 43 to come in...the response date is March 3rd....I have a feeling that I'll be calling alot of people to ask why it is so difficult to put a small card already stamped into the mailbox!!! It is so fustrating!!!

Our list will end up around 200 invited - how many do you think we will get? 20% says we will get 160 people to attend our wedding but I think that is HIGH! A lot of the invitees are out of towners....any thoughts?

April- you're not terrible, I think we all hope to have a few 'no' responses..
Thrilled- Sounds about right, you'll probably end up w/ 150-160 guests.
Everyone is telling me that once you get your 'no' responses.... you'll always have a few others that you'll want to invite in their place. Don't know how true that is.

We invited 180 and as of now have 116 yes, 14 no and about 50 still out there. I think we will have about 145-152 show.

Liz - those are exactly my numbers but I think I am going to be OVER!
mv - I am heading to the post office again tonight to send out about 6 more invites cuz of all the 'official' no's and the verbal no's! If I keep it up I will have to have a bake sale to pay the Fox Hollow LOL!

Its so funny how everyone wants no's....I know I certainly will when the time comes.
My best guy-guy friend is getting married a week before me so when I found out I told him I might not be able to attend and he was all upset - little does he realize next year he'll be happy when people say no!

OMG, i am the same way. we invited more people than our site can fit!!! ackk. i am actually hoping for 30% (at least) NOs. But, out of the invites that we sent, I knew ahead of time that several people probably would say NO. now i am just waiting to see how many exactly. So far 8 yes (mostly close family) and 2 No. Come onnnnnnnn NOs!!!
