MY AUNT IS MAKING ME A CARD BOX THAT WILL TURN INTO A TREASURE CHEST LATER WHERE I CAN PUT ALL MY WEDDING STUFF IN AND SAVE.

I decided NOT to do the cardbox...I dont know it doesnt sit right with me. I'd rather receive the cards into my or FH's hands and then pass it on to my mom.

We're going the same thing. If I had a cardbox I'd have to put it in myself or my parents would so what's the point.

the card box, even if your guests don't put in themselves, is so that your mom/dad/aunt/other trusted person doesn't have to sit by them all night.

since the cardbox is in plain sight and is usually secured in some way, you don't have to worry about them walking away.

i personally want my family to enjoy themselves and not hold the booster bag all night.

I am renting it from Laura at LA Productions. It is a white church with a removable steeple. I have no pic but I will be sure to post one after the wedding!

I am using a photocube, which I made myself but I am still going around the tables to say hello and chit chat. It would be rude not to. The box was so easy to make. I swear I don't have the time and patience but It was really very simple. FM me if anyone needs directions or help

I bought a card box at Michael's. Looks like a treasure chest...but it's all bridey looking. Bought it for 50% off this weekend - gotta love coupons! I think it cost $25.

i think we're doing both--having the cardbox, but also having the money bag when we do table visits around dinner time. i know members of my family will not understand the whole cardbox thing...and will want to hand us the envelope personally.
