Which band is best???

We saw Franklin Wayne's band, Heart and Soul at a showcase and loved them! But they're kind of expensive, $6000. I know bands are expensive...but is that the going rate for an 8 piece band?

I also have heard of Rhapsody and Code Bleu- what are there prices like?

And has anyone heard of times square orchestra? I've heard really good things about them as well.

Anyone have any recommendations and/or prices for 2013 for any of these bands?

Any other great, young, (less expensive) bands I should look into?

They are young, energetic & so talented! They can play anything!!!

To be perfectly honest I think $6,000 is not bad at all for a band. The Franklin Wayne bands were the least expensive bands I found in my search. I would say most good bands we saw/spoke to were in the $7,000-$10,000 range. Our band ended up being about $7,500 if I remember correctly and that is for 9 pieces.

$6000 is actually very reasonable for a band! Check out NY Minute - they're more expensive but it's ridiculous how worth it they are! FH and I go to see them whenever they play locally and one person told us that he was at a wedding where they played and they were so hot that people from the wedding UPSTAIRS were coming DOWNSTAIRS to listen to them.

$6,000 is reasonable for an 8-piece wedding band. We are booked with Franklin Wayne's Dreamkast. They originally quoted us $7,000, but we negotiated them down.

I booked Times Square Orchestra - they are UNBELIEVABLE! So reasonable too.

My DH is in Rhapsody, so obviously I am biased, but I honestly think they are wonderful, and really affordable! They played our wedding! FM if you want more pricing info and I can ask my husband.

We booked with Rhapsody. The quotes I got for Rhapsody, Franklin Wayne's 8 piece bands, and Times Square orchestra were all in the same ball park between 6000-7000. I've heard great things about all of them so I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of them

Try Fusion DL, they are a band/dj combo and they offer uplighting and video screens and so on. The highest package was about 6,000, but the lower ones are cheaper!! I highly recommend them!

I booked Body Heat but if you are looking to pay less then 6K I saw Times Square Orchestra at a showcase and they were great. I think they are 5K!
I just wanted more then one female singer.

i went to a few bridal showcaes and saw the band Paris! they were phenomenal! if we wanted to spend the extra money on a band we would have picked Paris!
