Which BM dress do you like better??

Which dress do you like better .....

#1 Jim Hjelm
I would get this one in a deep pink, like a raspberry color.


#2 Dessy
I would get this one in african violet, it is a deep purple, more vibrant than eggplant.
ETA- not in the print!! I would get it solid.

I love the first one and your color choice sounds so pretty....I love the way the dress scoops down in the back by the neckline...very nice.....good luck making your decision...it's a tough one!

i am not crazy about the print on the second...its a beautiful gown but i just dont really like prints for bm dresses...jmo im not trying to offend anyone using prints!


yeahhh i wouldnt do the print, i would do in in a deep purple. its hard to imagine it in a solid, all the stores only have the samples in this print


i saw #2 at rk bridal in the city. they had it in a mocha color if you want to see it in a solid color.

i'm thinking about doing the same dress in african violet. it's definitely high on the list.

I love love love one.. Jim hjelm is my fav. My girls are wearing him and I've been in 2 weddings already and also worn him. They are great dresses!!

I LOOOOOVE the jim hjelm dress, i was actually looking at it for my girls, the cowl back is so sexy and elegant

Love the first one better. I think the second one would be too plain and simple as a solid and without the print

I'm being bias since my girls are wearing JH. But, I really don't like #2; maybe for a different function besides a wedding.

I love #1 as well but some of ur BM may not feel comfortable with such a low back....let them vote!

you guys are great! its so helpful to hear all of the thoughts and opinions. I really love #1 too but i do have to make sure everyone is okay with that low back. I love #2 also but I dont know if i am being decived by the pattern, maybe i would not like it in a solid!! so I will try to find a store that has it in a solid. I agree that with the pattern it looks like a fun dress for a night out but not really like a BM dress.... i think in a solid it would look like one.
