When my friend went dress shopping, she was told that the one is massapequa has lower prices.

The one in Massapequa has dresses that start off in a lower price range. Carle Place has more high end dresses.

i went to carle place and they were very expensive for me....or maybe those were just the dresses the woman was showing me.

I got my dress at Carle Place and they matched the price of RK Bridal in the city- actually it was even lower. Ask for Christine when buying a dress- she is a manager or buyer who makes the decisions. I had Lee as my seamstress and she was wonderful. I gave them a budget and they stuck to it and were very very nice.

They asked me before i went...what my price range was and pretty much showed me dresses in that category

Massapequa!! I went to both. In Carle Place I had to wait, in massapequa I didn't. The woman who worked with me was must more knowledgable in Massapequa and listened to me more. The woman I dealt with in Carle Place kept bringing me dresses in a particular style that I told her I didn't like over and over again!!

I bought mine in Carle Place and had a great experience. I worked with Patty and then Christine when negotiating the price. Good Luck!

I actually found my dress at the one in carle place, but i liked the one in massapequa better so i had them get the dress in massapequa and i bought it from that store. Gloria was great in the massapequa store. in carle place i think i dealt with michelle.

I went to Carle Place, Michelle was the attendant and Christine was the negotiator. Great experience all around.

Massapequa!! I went to Carle Place and they were very rude, but another friend went through Massapequa and had no problems, said they were extremely nice and helpful!! Good Luck!!

I would recommend Carle Place. That's where I got my dress. Maddy helped me out and she was ok although she was a bit snotty with my FMIL. My Mom didn't care for her at all. Christine, the manager, was great and I was able to get her to lower the price for me.

At the time, I couldn't make up my mind and went back to try on the dress again. I dealt with Michelle who was a sweetheart. I told her I couldn't make up my mind between two dresses - the other was from Macy's in Manhasset. She didn't pressure me at all and was very helpful. Of all the salespeople I dealt with while dress shopping, she was the best!

So far, everyone has been pretty helpful when I call up and harrass them with questions. I'm crossing my fingers that everything else runs as smoothly.

I forgot to mention that I got my bridesmaids dresses there. The salespeople in the bridesmaids dept are a little disorganized but friendly. I went there with two bridesmaids and it took us close to an hour to get their dresses ordered.
