Which cake do you like better??? POLL

Ok, I am going to my menu tasting tomorrow - woo-hoo! Capitale will be doing my cake and they asked me to bring pics...honestly, I'm not really a 'cake gal' - it just isn't a big deal to me...but I have been searching a lot online for pics of cakes I like, and this is what I came up with.

FH loves #1

#2 is unique, and we are having tall calla lilly centerpieces, so it would go with our theme.

Which do you like best?

I like them both but voted for scroll because it is a little more elegant (JMO of course).

I like the calla one, but that's just because we're using callas. If you're going for a major elegant affair, go with #1. If it's more of a garden, casual atmosphere, go for #2.

I really like the second one, plus it goes with your theme of flowers.

Before I read the post I was ready to vote for #1, but if calla lilies are your theme, then you really should consider #2.

no, they are real flowers so they aren't edible...but they look good enough to eat, don't they?!

Re: Which cake do you like better??? POLL

I voted for #1 I think it looks soooo elegant! If you are having a more casual and flower theme then yeah got for #2 I've seen it before and I like it too.

My one question, now you have to worry about the florist finishing out the cake with all those calla lillies right? do you trust them enough with your cake? Can they do this? I get nervous with more people touching it. IMO
