Which cake topper?

OK, so FI and I are hockey fans and we wanted to get a cute cake topper reflecting that. We just can't seem to decide between these two. We would love your opinions! Thanks everyone!

ETA: The 2nd one the groom would not be wearing the hat. It would just be a pennant from our favorite team.

Hmmm, that's a tough one. I like the first one, but it'd be nice if you could incorporate your fave team too, w/o it being TOO much.

P.S. Who's your fave team? (I love hockey too)

FI feels the same way! I think that's what's making this decision so hard. We really love the sport itself but we're both Rangers fans and living way out on LI, we're always getting grief for it! I guess with no season getting under way soon, we won't have to hear it too much

How about you? Which team is your fav??

i say the skate and stick - if either one of you plays -i relate that to hockey more than a pennant becuase i play

but if you don't play i would say use the pennant - even if it is the rangers - there are lots of ranger fans on LI too (not one of them)

PS i just want hockey to watch soon

I like the second one. IT depends what you are looking for. More people will see the penant then the hockey stick.

My take on it:

The 1st one looks like one/both PLAYS hockey.

The 2nd one looks like one/both are FANS of the game...

I like them both but my vote goes to #2! For some reason I think it looks funny holding a hockey stick but it looks more personal with a banner of your fave team.
